Lis Pendens refers to the concept that any buyer of property must assume any litigation that exists pertaining to the property.

Careful buyers will be unwilling to purchase land subject to a "lispendens". It also may keep the owner from borrowing money secured by the property.

It is important to note that the presence of a lispendens does not prevent or necessarily invalidate a transfer of the property, although it makes such a transfer subject to the outcome of the litigation.

Time duration : Minimum 7 working days.

Charges : Minimum 15000/- Depends upon categories, subject, documents, applicable laws and entity as self,trust or company, partnership, pvt ltd or ltd. Government fee will be separate.
